Atari 8-bit Hybrid Multi-Cart
Overview
The Atari 8-bit Hybrid Cartridge PCB is a configurable cartridge PCB for the Atari 8-bit computer family. An eight-position rotary switch selects the active cartridge image. Four configuration switches allow each predefined pair of rotary switch positions to operate either as two independent 8 KB cartridge selections or as a single 16 KB selection, allowing 8 KB and 16 KB ROM images to be intermixed on the same cartridge.
Slot configuration is selected internally using either DIP switches or jumper shunts, making it easy to tailor the cartridge to the desired ROM layout. This unique arrangement provides a flexible multi-image cartridge platform while supporting both 8 KB and 16 KB software on the same cartridge.
